Get Bubble on your desktop
A real app — its own window, its own icon in the Dock or taskbar, no browser tabs and no address bar.
First time you open it, macOS will block it
You'll see "Apple could not verify Bubble is free of malware…". Bubble isn't signed with an Apple Developer certificate yet, and that message is what macOS says about any unsigned app. It is a statement about the certificate, not about this app — Apple hasn't inspected it and found something, Apple hasn't inspected it at all.
On macOS 15 Sequoia and later — including macOS 26:
- Drag Bubble into your Applications folder
- Double-click it. You'll get the warning — click Done
- Open → System Settings → Privacy & Security
- Scroll to Security. It says "Bubble was blocked to protect your Mac" → click Open Anyway
- Authenticate, then click Open
Once only. After that it opens like anything else. Right-click → Open does not work on macOS 15 or later — Apple removed that shortcut, so Privacy & Security is the only route.
On macOS 14 Sonoma and earlier, right-click the app and choose Open instead — that's quicker and does the same thing.
Windows

Windows SmartScreen will say "Windows protected your PC", for the same reason macOS does — the installer isn't code-signed yet. Click More info → Run anyway.

What you get

Honest about what this is
The Mac app is a native application — a real binary, 5 MB, that draws its own window. What it shows inside that window is Bubble itself, loaded from this site, because everything Bubble does happens on the server. That's why it's five megabytes instead of a hundred, and why it's never out of date.
The browser install option is the same thing without the download. Neither is a lesser version of the other.
